Phage summer school at Eliava is planned for September 2025. Participation is free of charge and students of Georgian universities are welcome to express their interest by filling in the following form.
The summer school topics are:
Phage history and application
Scientific writing and presenting
Bacterial Biofilms
Bioinformatics workshop
In a hands-on laboratory course you will learn how to:
Cultivate phages and bacteria
Determine phage titer
Asses bacterial susceptibility towards antibiotics and phages
In addition, you will see how phages and bacteria are visualized with help of electron microscopy.
