ASCLEPIUS Early-Career Researcher Presents at Micalis PhD Day 2026

Early-career scientist Benoît Lerouge, a researcher within the ASCLEPIUS project from the Micalis Institute, presented his PhD research at the Micalis PhD Day 2026.

The Micalis PhD Day is organised to provide second-year PhD candidates at the Micalis Institute with a dedicated opportunity to present and discuss their research with fellow researchers and senior scientists.

Benoît presented his work, "Delayed Phage-Mediated Degradation of Pseudomonas aeruginosa Biofilms," which investigates interactions between bacteriophages and bacterial biofilms. His research contributes to a better understanding of phage-based approaches for tackling biofilm-associated infections.

Participation in scientific events such as the Micalis PhD Day supports the professional development of early-career researchers and promotes knowledge exchange within the ASCLEPIUS consortium.
