School Students Explore Microbiology at the Eliava Institute

On 31st of March Eliava Institute welcomed another group of school students for an educational visit. Seventh graders from Tbilisi Public School N 137 attended a lecture on microbiology, introducing them to the fundamentals of microorganisms and their role in science and medicine.

Following the lecture, the group toured the institute’s laboratories, where they learned about bacteriophages and ongoing research efforts to combat bacterial infections. These visits aim to inspire curiosity and support the development of future scientists.
