Young scientist from Project Asclepius visited Technopark in Gurjaani
The young scientists of Project Asclepius are committed to inspiring future scientists. On November 27th, 2024, Marita Chichashvili, a doctoral candidate from the Laboratory of General Microbiology of Eliava Institute, visited Technopark in Gurjaani as part of an inspiring event organized by Georgia's Innovation and Technology Agency. The event's theme was biotechnology, and high school students had the chance to engage with exciting research and innovation, including Phage Therapy.
During her visit, Marita gave a short presentation about phages and their importance in the environment as well as for therapy. She answered questions from the students and also introduced the project Asclepius and its aims.
