ASCLEPIUS Summer School – Final Day

The last day of the ASCLEPIUS Summer School was fully dedicated to bioinformatics, highlighting the essential role of computational tools in phage research.

Quentin Nugier from INRAE delivered an introductory lecture on bioinformatics, providing students with the foundation to approach genomic data. Following this, Dr. Marie-Agnes Petit (INRAE) led a hands-on training session on how to annotate and compare phage genomes, equipping participants with practical skills for genome analysis.

This closing day marked the culmination of an intensive and inspiring week of learning, collaboration, and scientific discovery at the Eliava Institute.
