Caucasus International University Medical Students Visit Eliava Institute

On July 22, 2025, a group of medical students from Caucasus International University visited the G. Eliava Institute of Bacteriophages, Microbiology, and Virology.

As part of the ASCLEPIUS project, the students had the opportunity to tour the Institute’s laboratories, learn about the scientific foundations and clinical applications of phage therapy, and engage with researchers. These visits aim to raise awareness about innovative research directions and inspire future healthcare professionals to explore alternatives to antibiotics.

Such outreach activities align with ASCLEPIUS’s goal of promoting higher education, research, and innovation in the field of bacteriophages.
