Applications Open for the ASCLEPIUS Autumn School 2026

The ASCLEPIUS project is pleased to announce the ASCLEPIUS Autumn School 2026, which will take place in Braga, Portugal, from 13 to 16 October 2026.

This intensive four-day programme is designed for PhD students and will combine expert lectures with hands-on laboratory training in bacteriophage biology, biotechnology, and therapeutic applications. Participants will gain practical experience in phage isolation, bioinformatics, genetic engineering, and biofilm research, while interacting with leading experts in the field.

The preliminary programme includes lectures and practical sessions on phage genomics, phage-derived proteins, phage applications in agriculture and veterinary medicine, phage-biofilm interactions, synthetic biology approaches, and the evaluation of phage activity against biofilms.
