ASCLEPIUS Researchers Participate in Viruses of Microbes 2026

Researchers from the ASCLEPIUS consortium participated in Viruses of Microbes (VoM) 2026, held in Prague, Czech Republic, from 5–10 July 2026.

Recognised as one of the leading international conferences dedicated to viruses of microorganisms, VoM brings together scientists from around the world to share the latest advances in bacteriophage biology, virus–host interactions, microbial ecology, and phage-based applications.

The conference provided an excellent platform for ASCLEPIUS researchers to present their latest findings, exchange ideas with leading experts, and establish new scientific collaborations. Through poster presentations and discussions, consortium members contributed to ongoing scientific dialogue on bacteriophages and their potential applications in combating bacterial infections.

Participation in international scientific meetings is an important component of the ASCLEPIUS project, supporting the dissemination of research results, strengthening scientific networks, and fostering collaboration between partner institutions.
